You’ve built a life that looks stable—but peace still feels out of reach.
From the outside, it seems like you’re doing everything right. You work hard, show up for others, and keep things running smoothly. But on the inside, your mind rarely rests. You replay conversations, second-guess decisions, and push yourself long past exhaustion.
You’re the one people count on. Yet lately, it’s been harder to show up for yourself.
Whether you’re a high achiever trying to quiet the mental noise, a caregiver who’s lost touch with your own needs, or a professional holding it all together at the expense of your well-being—what you’re feeling isn’t failure. It’s your body’s way of coping.
When your mind has lived in survival mode, calm feels unfamiliar, versus natural.

Understanding before change
Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling frustrated that insight alone hasn’t been enough. They’ve read the books, tried mindfulness apps, or repeated affirmations—but still feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, guilt, or self-criticism.
Our work together focuses on helping you understand why those patterns exist, and how to gently retrain your nervous system to respond with safety and compassion.
My Approach
I specialize in Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Exposure Therapy—methods backed by research and adapted to your unique pace.
Therapy with me isn’t about forcing change. It’s about learning to feel safe enough to grow.
Together, we’ll help you:
-
Understand your anxiety instead of fighting it
-
Build calm and focus through mindfulness and regulation
-
Reconnect with your sense of self, identity, and boundaries
-
Heal without having to relive every painful memory
The process is collaborative, structured, and deeply attuned—designed to help you feel grounded, capable, and authentically yourself.
Hi, I'm Dr. Samantha Soria.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of Centering Psychology, where I help clients rebuild safety and trust within themselves after years of running on overdrive.
My work integrates neuroscience, compassion, and mindfulness to support lasting emotional healing. Clients often describe our sessions as both calming and clarifying—a space where what’s been confusing finally starts to make sense.
I founded Centering Psychology on one belief: you don’t have to earn rest, peace, or healing. You deserve a space where your emotions make sense, your nervous system can exhale, and your growth unfolds at your pace.
When you’re ready to stop surviving and start centering yourself again
Therapy can help you:
-
Calm an overactive mind
-
Set boundaries without guilt
-
Reconnect with meaning and presence
-
Feel safe in your body and emotions
You don’t have to keep holding it all together alone. Let’s help you find steady ground—one mindful step at a time.
